St. Mary Student Parish is the Catholic parish for the University of Michigan community. We welcome all undergraduate students to make our parish their spiritual home during their time at Michigan.

Whether you're a first-year student finding your way or a senior preparing to graduate, St. Mary's offers a place to belong, grow in faith, and build lasting friendships. Our campus ministry is designed to help you integrate your Catholic faith with your college experience.

SUNDAY MASS

The 8:00 PM Sunday Mass is our student-focused Mass, featuring contemporary music and a homily geared toward students. All are welcome at any of our weekend Masses.

GET CONNECTED

Ig.Nite — Food, Faith & Friendship

Join us on Thursday nights during the academic year for Ig.Nite! We gather for a free dinner, fellowship, and a program exploring faith and life. All students are welcome.

Undergraduate Internship Program

Each year, a select group of undergraduate students serves as interns, helping to plan and lead campus ministry programs. Applications are typically available in the spring for the following academic year.

Student Retreats

Retreats are offered each semester, providing an opportunity to step away from campus life and deepen your relationship with God. Watch for announcements about upcoming retreats.

Alternative Spring Break (ASB) Immersion

Each spring break, students travel to participate in immersion experiences focused on service, social justice, and cultural exchange. These trips are a powerful way to live out our faith that does justice.

Catechist Formation

Students are invited to serve as catechists for our Family Faith Formation programs. Formation and training are provided.

Thursday nights during the academic year — dinner, faith sharing, and community.
